To celebrate reaching 5,000 YouTube followers, we assembled a crack team of investigators for a night at the legendary Jamaica Inn, Cornwall.
The Jamaica Inn houses The Museum of Smuggling, highlighting its history as a hub for contraband along the Cornish coast. Silks, tea, tobacco and brandy were smuggled ashore for centuries, often stored in the inn’s isolated rooms — and local tales suggest even judges sometimes turned a blind eye.
During our overnight investigation, we filmed in both the museum and the main inn, exploring shadowy corners and hidden staircases. The inn’s history and secluded rooms made it easy to imagine ghostly smugglers still wandering the halls.
